Michelin is also passionate about the world arena of two-wheel racing. This began in 1891 when french rider Charles Terron triumphed with Michelin at the Paris-Brest-Paris championship, marking the beginning of Michelin's association with a long string of victories. Michelin now competes worldwide in the World Enduro Championship, Enduarance Racing Championship, Trial Outdoor, Indoor Trial World Championship and Motocross World Championship.
For two-wheel racing in Australia and New Zealand, Michelin competes in a number of super cross and off-road events, including: Australian Motocross Series, Australasian Supercross Championship, Australian Off-Road Racing Championship, Australian Off-Road Junior Racing Championship and Australian Trial Championship.
