Annakee 3's truely 90/10
I have run two sets of Annakee 3's to shy over 40,ooo kms on my KLR650 . They still let you play a little off road but it better be dry off road . I toured Nova Scotia and Newfoundland on these. They always felt confident never a sign of feeling loose . I like to ride the twisty roads . These will let you cruise wood roads and have some fun in the dirt. But there not going to go play in wet sloppy muck. I once made the mistake of following where some 4 wheelers had run . I found the end of the trail went downhill and wet ...... a no go . I was lucky and was able to put my front wheel up into the treeline and was barely able to turn by backing down onto the trail again now pointed back out. Wet roads and dry these feel super confident . I put mile after mile on and just never had to think about them. The Annakee wild will let you play more in the wetter dirt, but you won't be as confident on the twisty black top . I'm torn between wanting to be in the dirt a bit more but I'm addicted to the twisty black top . I'm at a disadvantage 2 car accidents have limited my adventure level . I can't see pushing my body to make this an 80/20 tire . Knowing what I did put them through 90 /10 suits them. Addicted to the Black top I may well be wearing another set of Annakee 3's . Tires that last like these zero complaints there . 40,ooo plus a few more is easily 20,ooo kms on each set . No shame there . Very impressive even . I'm torn I have trouble giving up the twisty back top for a little more off road . Maybe I'll give in and try the Annakee Wild side .
