DO NOT BUY
These are Trash. From the day they were installed, they buzzed on the center line. The compound is messed up and they balance out but then "flop" at highway speeds. The vibration makes my hands numb in about 10 minutes or less. I've spent countless hours at dealers and in my garage making sure everything else is right. It's the tires. DO NOT BUY THEM! The 4 different dealers I have worked with all say they have countless issues with them.

These are Phenomenal Tires!! Grip, and excellent wear! I've got almost 11,000 miles on mine!!
Commander 3 - Harley StreetGlide Special
Almost immediately I felt the vibration in the front end almost everyone on here is talking about. Had them installed right before Sturgis last year and didn't get even 2000 miles out of the front tire. Local HD dealer said it was cupped. Thought ok so I need to replace it. Bought another new one and within 200 miles same thing. Vibration going in straight line. Around corners or switching lanes is fine.

VIBRATING / BUZZING FRONT COMMANDER III
Purchased a pair of Commander 111's for my Harley back in December 2020 , after getting fitted and balanced twice there was still a distinct buzzing vibration in the handlebars . I was forced to buy another tyre (Pirelli was all I could get at the time ) which upon getting fitted and balanced , the vibration was gone . I contacted the seller I purchased from , TyremanMC on Ebay , and he put me in touch with the distributor , GAS IMPORTS in Melbourne . Ryan from GAS fairly promptly picked up the faulty tyre from my address and asked what resolution I would like to see , obviously a tyre replacement , but it was not needed at that time as I had just forked out money that I could not afford on a pension , on a new front tyre to replace the buzzing Commander 3 . Ryan said to contact him when the time comes that I need my front tyre replaced and he would organize it . In the last few month plus , I have sent multiple emails to GAS IMPORTS via their web page , and multiple to their very active Facebook page . I am being totally ignored .
Humming and vibration
I purchased these for my 2017 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited. They seemed great at first but then the vibration and whining/humming began. Mine do it in a strait line between 50 and 70. I too thought it was the wheel bearings and then I started thinking transmission. I will see when I get new tires this week. I wish I could give a better rating but the noise and vibration is too much. These tires are only 1 year old.

NO SATISFACTION
Purchased 2 Commander 3's for my heritage Softail in December 2020 . After getting fitted at a reputable dealer , and then re-fitted and balanced , both statically and computer balanced , buzzing vibration at certain speeds in the front end continued . I was forced to take out a loan to get another brand tyre fitted as I am on a pension , the problem was gone instantly . The tyre was the problem . My son works at a Harley dealer in Melbourne , he said they have had this same problem countless times with Commander 111's front tyre only , on various Harleys . In the end I had a rep from GAS IMPORTS in Melbourne to come to my house to pick up the faulty tyre . I was told "when you need a new tyre to replace this faulty one, contact us and we will help you out ' I have sent 2 detailed email's in the last week and am still waiting for a response . Not happy . Would not recommend Commander 111's under any circumstance .
Best tires so far.
I had a Suzuki c50 and replace the stock tires that were worn out at 6,000 miles with the commander II and when I traded it in for my Harley I had 20,000 miles on them and still looked good. My only complaint was that they were a little slippery when the roads were cold and wet. So, when I needed tires on my Harley I went with the commander III tire because they were supposed to have taken care of the problems with the commander II. I have had them on for about 3,000 miles and still look new and handles really good. I only wish I could get these for my wife's fat Bob. I have not experienced any vibration at all with these and doesn't matter if I am running 30mpj or 120mph.
Buzzing in Straightline
These tires have a distinct vibration/buzz at speed above 30 mph in a Straightline. Lean them in a turn or changing lanes and it mysteriously disappears. I have a much higher expectation of a Michelin product.

Comm III 130/90B 16 73H Vibration in front end
I purchased a Comm III front and rear tires for my 2011 Harley Heritage Softail Classic and immediately felt a, I call it, high frequency vibration in the front end. so bad i couldn't see anything my mirrors. Contacted vendor and Michelin but both would not refund my money, only would send me a new tire. I replaced my new front bearings with new bearings thinking it was the bearings but it wasn't. I've also brought the wheel into my local Harley dealer several times and the last time was to inspect tire per Michelin. There was no visual signs of any defect. I bought a new original brand tire and the vibration went away immediately. Because we are told not to have different brand tires on front and rear, i have 2 Michelin tires in my garage with VERY low mileage on them unable to be used by me. Thank you Michelin and by the looks of it, this problem has been happening for quite some time now.
