Awesome tire the Wild
Best tire I’ve tried on the T-7 so far. Much lighter and responsive also. Great traction in all conditions and longevity you don’t expect in a tire like this.
Can't Get Them?
Configurator allowed me to access the correct sized tires but I needed to see that they were, in fact, designated as Tube Type (TT) tires for my 2017 Honda Africa Twin. When I tried to get back to the original result/landing page after trying to find this info, on site, I could not. The configurator failed to rturn any results???
Great handling, terrible longevity
Fitted these to my yamaha super tenere 1200 in South Africa for adventure trips, 70% unmade roads. Great stability off road, fantastic in sand, though not really happy above 140km on tar . Bad point, terrible longevity, got 3500 kilometers on back tire
Fantastic big bike off road tyres
The Anakee Wild tyre is sure footed in slippery clay, excellent self cleaning abilities, and I didn’t notice any road noise or misbehaviour on road either. Great choice for my 250 kg adventure bike. I haven’t taken it past 4000 kms yet. So not sure about how long it will last.
First choice for serious off-road on heavy adventure bike.
When I tried the Wild tyre after having other top brands, I noticed excellent grip on wet clay, and sand handling was asi improved. It gave me confidence to tackle mud and potholes straight on rather than go around.
Too good to be true
After riding motorcycles for 50 years I thought I knew it all. Motocross, enduro, roadracing, trials and anything else in between that involves 2 wheels. Now, I focus on adventure riding, and, as most adventure riders would tell you, we have to compromise when it comes to tyres. But let me tell you, confidently tell you, that's no longer the case. Most knobby tyres will get you 2000-4000kms. Most sport bike road tyres will get you 5000-7000kms. My last Harley chewed up Michelin Scorchers in under 4000kms. I'm only talking rear tyres here. With Michelin Anakee Wilds I easily get 10000kms up front and 6000 in the rear. All with excellent on and off-road grip. The only complaint I have is that, like all knobbies, they're noisy. So, unless you're planning a round the world trip where you want 15000-20000kms per set of tyres, you should try these out.
Annakee Wild tyres
Long wearing and surprisingly good grip in the wet for a chunky tyre On my Strom 1000 the best versatile tyre I've used
This type of tires are proven reliable on / off the road.
It is Perfect for My xtz 125 yamaha motorbike.
Great pick for 50/50 Dual Sport use
I recently put on a set of these tires on a 250 Dual Sport that I use for bopping around on up at our cottage. Tires work well on the secondary highways and are very sure-footed on fire roads and moderate trails/single track. Any tire is ultimately a compromise however these are about the best all-rounder I have found and seem to be wearing quite well on this somewhat lighter bike. For serious off-road on my Enduro bike I stick with full off-road tires.

Good Tire
I am 50 years old now, started riding on small dirt bikes at just 7 years old. Motorbiking is my favorite thing to do in life, and ride a lot, currently own multiple bikes, and had 41 bikes in my life. My grown daughter, and wife both ride as well, and between us we right now have these tires on 5 bikes. There is no such thing as a perfect tire, and different tires for different bikes, and rides obviously. But after trying dozens of adventure bike tires, these are the best I've had yet. Had a few slips on wet pavement when getting aggressive with the throttle, or leaning too hard, all tires slip eventually when riding hard in the rain, but they don't break loose to easily, and when they do, its a predictable slide i haven't had a problem catching. Not sure how they will get as they wear down, only 3,417 kms on them so far, but just came home from a 5 day trip, all sorts of roads, trails, sand, rocks, we were a group of 11 bikes, 4 of which were on the Anakee Wilds, best tires in the group for sure, and great overall. When these wear out, I'll definitely be spooning on another set. Happy trails everyone!
