My FJR 1300 is really hard on front tires. The michelins handle the best and last the longest of all the tires I have tried. I've used the fives and the six GTs and found them both to be excellent in all regards.

Definitely worth the price

Fifth set of Michelins on my road bike. Fantastic in all conditions. My wife rides pillion on long trips and we take lots of luggage. Best mileage ever - nearly 15000km.

Eight years ago I returned to motorcycling when I bought a BMWR1200rt, it was fitted with Metzler Tourance which were ok as I didn't know any better. When checking these I noticed something shiny which were the steel cords coming through, these tyres had only done 8,000 k's. A club member recommended Pilot road 4GTs which were duly fitted, I wore out 4 sets of these averaging mid teen k's. Next was 4 sets of Road 5GT's. I sold that bike with new Road 6GT's and updated my bike to a BMWR1250RT which came fitted with Perrelli Angel GT's, While these were ok they surprised me on one occasion too many. I now have a new pair of Road 6's and couldn't be happier

best tyre ever

As a proud owner of a sweet handling ST1300 Honda, replacing my Pilot Road 5 GTs with the PR6s was a natural progression.Such good grip and smoothness are valued traits in my book. Plus decent tyre life tops the whole setup.
