New found confidence
I'm back to 1000ccs and loving the confidence and sure footed feelings I'm getting from my Road 6s... I've just ordered another set from my local bike shop and can't wait to go touring again...isn't that what you are supposed to do when you are RETIRED.
Best tyres I've ever had
Decided to have a pair of michelin road 6 fitted to my gs before a 3000mile tour and it was the right decision. Once I had done the 120mile scrub in nice and steady me and my wife loaded the bike and set off to sorrento Italy. I went through all weather's and these tyres are confidence inspiring. Fantastic in the dry and brilliant in the wet and this is a bmw gsa fully loaded two up. Very little noise from tyres and after 3000 miles mostly on motorway only the very slightest sign of tyre square. I can't fault the tyres and I will be having another set when these are done.
Michelin's Road 6 is my #1 tyre choice.
For my uses, Michelin's Road 6 is my #1 tyre choice. I ride in Australia - all year round - for heavily loaded long distance sports-touring twisty road joy rides occasional track days. I have fitted Michelin's Road series tyres since 2014, on middleweight cc and heavyweight cc motorcycles. They have always delivered superb dry and wet grip lasted 14,500 kms / 9,000 miles provided superb handling. My last pair of Road 6 were fitted end of day before a track day the next morning. They did not slip once! Incredible tyres.
The grip, feedback and confidence inspired isamazing
The grip, feedback and confidence inspired is amazing. In the past when I've gone to a new version of a tyre I've felt some small improvement. While the old tyre was very good, when I went to the Road 6 on the front the step forward was amazing. (I needed to back off the rebound dampening 1 or 2 clicks, I commute daily on a VFR1200F) The new tyre grips in the cold far better (-2 and warmer) and in the heat (up to low 40s). It's feedback is so good, I'm game to to push it to sliding and then catch it.
power to motorcycle
love the tyres
Tires you can rely on
Tires warm up quickly even in the winter. There is nothing I can complain about.
Road 6 every time
I bought a 2001 GSXR1000 that had been freshly serviced including new brakes and Pirelli tyres. I also own 2 1200 Suzuki Bandits with road 6 tyres. The confidence these tyres give me never fail to amaze me. The GSXR never gave me the same confidence to throw her into corners. So I just replaced the tyres with road 6 and the difference is unbelievable. She just falls into corners and handles like I expected she should. Will always be Michelin for me.
Great all rounder
Can't fault these tyres. Last a long time, handle well and have brilliant traction in the wet.
Michelin Road 6 very impressive
I have a Z900rs that came with a Dunlop from new. I recently fitted a MICHELIN ROAD 6 which instantly felt way better with Michelin’s dual compound which inspires confidence in corners even in the wet and the harder compound in the middle for longevity. The difference is like night and day. I’ll be fitting a Michelin to the front as soon as I am able to match the rear. Do yourself a favour and fit a matching pair of Michelin Road 6’s straight up and experience the difference now!
My go-to sport tyre
I run these on my FZ1, and have run previous versions on two R1s and an R6. Every generation gets better. They might not have the outright grip of a sports category tyre, but the wet grip is something else and in real world conditions they are can't be beat for useability. All this and they normally last more than 12,000km, making them great value.
