Best Tire on my Honda ST1300
I've currently got 5300 miles on these Road 6's & they are a big difference over the road 5's big time..BIG TIME confidence in the rain & the twisties! I've got a good amount of tread life left but my riding season is over here in northern Illinois. I'll wind up ordering a new set over the winter (as I always do) & have them put on in the spring since I don't wanna change out tires while on the road come summer 2024 once I hit the road. This is gotta be my 5th or 6th Michelin tire on this bike & they've all been great except for maybe mileage but these Road 6's have conquered that!! The Honda ST1300 is known to be the heaviest Sport/Touring bike on the road so I take that into consideration on mileage in the past.
What a tyre!
Warms up quickly. Consistent handling across a wide air temperature range. Excellent grip in the wet both braking and traction when on the side of the tyre. Good mileage for wear. Tyre performance still good even when 3/4 worn.

I have used Pilot Road 4, Pilot Road 5 GT and now the Road 6. All on a Ducati ST2 1999. I found them all to be good tyres, with improvement along the series. The Road 6's have larger grooves which can be felt at low speed compared to the 4 and 5's, though it is minor and I'm getting used to it. Overall the Road 6's are really nice and perfect for touring. Worth giving them a try!
Love these tyres
I’ve been a fan of Michelin Road tyres since the Pilot Road 2 and they just keep getting better with every iteration. Confidence and feel in corners is fantastic, and wet weather grip is confidence inspiring. Mileage keeps improving too.
Total confidence
I fitted Road 6s to my Suzuki GSF 1200 after enjoying two sets of Road 5s. The tyre's give me confidence right from cold, whenever the road is damp or when the pace increases. Wear seems to be improved from the already impressive Road 5s and these are more than enough tyre for most road situations and conditions. These are simply excellent tyres.
Fantastic Tyre
Fantastic tyre in both the wet and the dry. I use mine for after work blasts, commuting and touring. When touring Scotland I loved the fact I could ride in any conditions with confidence.
Great tires - particularly in the wet
I went on a 2,000 mile road trip around Colorado and Utah with 3 friends - all of us in road 6s. We all thought the 6s were an excellent tire in the dry. But where this tire really shines is in the wet. In a steady rain, over multiple mountain passes with temps from the 40s to the 70s - these tires were predictable, grippy and confidence inspiring. If these tires last as long as claimed, I would have found a new favorite.
