Michelin Road 6- Dependable, predictable in the wet
Have run Michelin road tyres on my ZRX 1200r for years. Recently purchased a set of Road 6’s and found them to predictable and grippy either on my daily commute or a weekend ride through favourite twisties. Being a relatively heavy bike the michelins provide stability and assurance.
Trust Your Mitches
Perfect choice for my Sports Tourer. Ticks all the boxes in all weather conditions. Wears well too.
Best Bike Tyres
I ride daily in peak hour traffic, and on the weekend with my club, through the twisties in Victoria. These tyres are great in the wet, they warm up quickly, and hang on very well in the dry. The best and safest tyre I have used. Currently fitted to a Ninja 1000sx.

Best tyres I have ever ridden on! 👌

Awesome Tyre
Great tire, but still wears quickly
I replaced the OEM Continentals on my 2021 R 1250 GS. The rear is at the wear bars with
Excellent grip and fantastic longevity
I had these tyres fitted before a trip to Philip Island to watch the Moto GP. I took advantage of the Michelin cash back offer at the time which was a nice little bonus. I travelled from the Great Southern in WA to the Island and back without any problems. Rode through all kinds of weather and on all kinds of sealed roads. These tyres are solid, reliable and give you confidence that you will get to where your going. You would have to do something pretty dumb for these tyres to let go. Even after the over 7000 km journey on a heavily loaded bike, the tyres still have plenty of life left in them. I’ve always used Michelin Road series tyres since the Pilot Road One. I love their combination of great handling, grip and awesome longevity. They really are the best of both worlds. Looking forward to Road 7’s 😁
Hey Obi Wan, Thank you for your glowing feedback we very much appreciate it. Keep on riding :-)

Road 6- Predictable & sure footed
Very happy with how my set of Road 6s have performed. A sure-footed, predictable tyre which I predominantly use for two-up touring, fully loaded in all weather, across four seasons. (Avoid snow & ice when possible!!) They're on R1200GS & have to also perform regularly on a work run of 70km return on gravel. This is a remote, windswept & sometimes potholed section of road where again, the Road 6s have done well. Sure they move about a little on the gravel, but that movement is predictable & fun. On mountain passes with twisty, often damp & regularly debris covered roads I've maintained my confidence as they provide safe navigation to my destination. Purchased nearly 12months ago, with around 10,000kms on them they will require replacing in the next few thousand kms. The Tasmanian roads I use are not smooth bitumen & are quite hard on tyres, especially as I'm nearly always with fully loaded panniers & pillion. Anyway, hoping for a special soon because I'll stick with these tyres. 🏍 🐧

Michelin Road 6 Tire Experience
I have just over 12,000 miles on a set of Michelin Road 6 tires. The rear tire is very close to the wear bars, the front tire still has plenty of tread depth, but is showing signs of cupping. The majority of the mileage was ridden with side cases loaded as I traveled cross country twice. About 4,000 miles was ridden two up and loaded with camping gear. I am impressed with the wear as well as handling of these tires. I look forward to installing another set of the Michelin Road 6 tires.
