Pilot Sport 4 S TYRE REVIEW

These tyres perform fantastically in the warm and when it’s raining, although when the tyres are cold or it’s cold weather they perform really poorly, definitely the kind of tyre that needs to get warm and sticky to perform at its best.

Great - extremely capable

Cannot fault these tyres in terms of grip, handling, performance, noise and stopping power. This is my second set replacing Conti Contact 6 that came on my FK8 Type R. I love them. Only downside is their prohibitive cost at over $500 each and the fact that I got only 25,000km out of the last set. I love them but will not be replacing again if I only get two years out of a set, like last time. That works out at $1000 a year... I sadly do not have a F1 team budget!

They perform amazing in both the dry and the wet.

It is remaining inflated. This was a problem with the tyre it replaced.
